JONSERED CS 2166 is rated 3.6667 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best I've ever owned Once you figure out the trick to starting it (stops the flooding), it fires up in about 3 pulls on cold start, 1 pull warm start. I have a 24 inch bar and chain. Makes short work of some pretty big timber on my property. I clean my air filter every other gas fill and chain re-sharpening, usually at the end of the day. It's comfortable to handle in my hands, I'm short and have small hands. I use a few additives, stabil and anyone of the Ethenol gum solving products and cycle through for a few minutes to protect carb, lines, tank etc. the thing just runs. I recommend adjusting the carb for idle and start ups, mine used to flood until I got the carb adjusted. see the manual minimal fuel mix to begin with. adjust after starting. You won't have no more issues. This saw should be listed under full time forestry use, it has more than enough power and flexible bar lengths to get the job done. They should revisit this or clarify why this can't be used as full time forestry use. I rate this thing high because the issues I first had with it were operator error. This saw is fantastic. I would recommend to anyone. I had put a video on their FB page showing the saw running with torque and responsiveness of the trigger. I m rating it a 4 on value, due to it's price tag. I guess if this saw came with a choice in bar lengths that might make a difference, or perhaps a rip chain for use with the Alaskan Saw Mill III, which is what I primarily purchased the product for, making my own timber posts and true dimensional lumber.
